How to care personal cleanliness ?

In personal cleanliness, the cleanliness of an individual's organs and sub-organs of his body are included. If they all the organs and sub-organs of an individual are clean, the possibilities of occuring any infectious disease is almost nil. Not only that, but they also remain efficient and shining. Because of that an individual's physical personality remains blossomed. Here, we shall get information regarding the cleanliness of our hair, eye, ear, nose, nails, face etc.


* Care of hair:- Hair gives not only the beauty but also protection to our body. Any individual gets by heredity the hair from his parents. So, some are having black hair and some are having curly hair, brown hair, thick hair, thin hair, rough hair, smooth hair etc. Whatever might be the type of hair, one should take proper care to keep them clean. If we do not keep them clean, the dirt may deposit on the head. There might be dandruff, and skin-boils. There might be infection with lice and the eggs of a lice. While taking bath, one should rub the head to keep it clean. So that, there is no stickiness in the hair one may use shampoo, aritha, black clay and soury butter-milk. Presently the people use different types of shampoos to keep the hair shining and to remove the dandruff. As a matter of fact, one should use only one type of shampoo. If one uses different types of shampoos, there is possibility of being the black hair grey. For the beauty and the softness of the hair one can use oils like coconut oil, sesame oil and neem seeds oil.

* Care of eye:- Eyes are very important organs of our body. The eyes are very delicate organs. This is the reason why they have been arranged in the cave like hollow part of the bones. Hence, they remain protected. By means of the eyes, we can see the nature and the world and can enjoy. We can read. We can show our expressions. We can reflect our emotions. Over and above their placement in hollow parts of the bones God has bestowed upon us, giving the protection of the eye-brows, eye-lids and eye-lashes. So that, the eye-sight can remain sharp. The following types of care should be taken in consideration.

1] The eyes should be cleaned by means of the splashes of cool and clean water.
2] Applying bad type of antimony or the soot in the eye may have side effects. Eye keeps itself clean by means of tears.
3] Excessive and improper use of eyes may cause minus or plus numbers. These numbers are to see from near and far distances. In this condition, one should get the medical check-up done and if there are such numbers, one should spectacles.
4] During the motion of the vehicle, one should try to avoid reading.
5] One should protect the eyes from the strong wind, dust paricles, smoke or the poisonous air.
6] Deficiency of vitamin-A in our body, may cause night-blindness. So, in order to get sufficient Vitamin-A from our food, We should make use of green vegetables, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, bananas, papaiya and musk-melon in our food.

* Care of ear:- We can hear by means of the ears. The ears are very important organs of our body to listen and to get the knowledge of different voices, words, music, sounds etc. If the ears are not properly protected in the winter cold, it may cause the disease of cold. Hence, one should put the cotton wicks in the ears. Over and above, for the protection of the ears one can make use of warm muffler, warm cap or a scarf. The outer ear can be cleaned with the bathing soap. One should take care that water does not enter in the ear. If the water remains in the ear, it may cause skin boils in the ear. While cleaning the ear, one should not make use of match-stick, hair pin etc, because they may cause injury. To clean the ear one can make use of the cotton buds wrap ped on plastic sticks. Even then, if there is a pain in the ear or if there is pus formation, one should take the treatment as per the advice of a doctor.

* Care of nose:- We can make-out different types of smells by means of our nose. Hence it is called the most important organ to smell. We breathe by means of a nose. While breathing, we supply oxygen in to our body through the lungs, is of great use for our body. So many times, we suffer from the cold in any season. In this situation, a sticky and watery fluid flows from our nose. This cold gets rid-of after three days. This is an experience of so many people cold puts an individual in trouble. So, one should take the medicine prescribed by the doctor. So that, you do not suffer from the cold. Especially in the cold season, you should put on the warm clothes and the head and the ears should be covered with warm muffler or a warm cap. If the watery and sticky fluid flows from the nose, make use of a clean handkerchief to cleanse it. We sneeze because of the cold and many other reason. While sneezing we should keep a clean handkerchief over our nose, so that  the germs of the cold may not spread infections.

* Care of face:-Face includes fore-head, eyes, nose, ears, cheeks and lips. We have got information regarding the cares of eyes, nose and the ears. Now, let us know about taking care of the whole face including the respective sub-organs. An individual should take dailly bath with cool or warm water to keep the fore-head shining and attractive, to keep the cheeks glittering and to keep the skin of the lips without being cracked. While taking bath, one should use soft soap. The whole face should be rubbed softly while taking bath. After taking bath, the face should be cleaned with a clean towel. If needed, one can use the cream or the talcum powder, so that the skin may remain smooth. In the winter, one should use vaseline, cream or petroleum vaseline to keep the face clean and attractive. During the winter, one should massage the face by means the use of the oil of the seed of seasame or the mustard oil, so that skin of the face and the lips do not get cracked.

* Care of nails:- Nails protect our fingers. Nails add to the beauty of the fingers. If we do not keep them clean, the dirt may cling under the nails. The dirt creates the microscopic germs. While taking food this dirt and the germs enter in to our body. They become responsible for the diseases of stomach and intestive. To take care of the nails, one should cut them every week or every ten days. Do not cut the nails with your teeth. It is advantageous to cut the nails with the nail-cutter. To keep the nails glittering, one should rub the lemon over them. While daily bath, one should use the bathing soap to keep them clean. After taking food and natural calls, one should use antiseptic soap to keep the hands and the nails clean.

* Care of mouth, teeth and tongue:- When we put food in our mouth, it is chewed with the teeth. The chewed food is turned over by the tongue in the mouth and then it is passed into the food-pipe. If the food has particles of fibre and sticky, especiallly the pulses, some of its particles may remain in between the teeth. If such particles of food remain in the mouth for same time, it stinks. If the foul food is prepared with the use of garlic, the smell of garlic remains in the mouth. The small particles of the food also remain stuck on the tongue. After taking food, one should clean the mouth with water. Even then, if some food particles remain in the mouth. They can be removed by means of the brush using the tooth-powder or tooth-paste and at the end of brushing, a strip for cleaning the tongue should be used to remove the sticky substance deposited on the tongue. In doing so the mouth, teeth and the tongue should be cleaned and the foul smell will does not remain in the mouth. One should put into practice the habit of brushing in the morning and at night before going to sleep. If one does not do brushing the teeth regularly, the food particles stuck inbetween the teeth shall start decaying, which ultimately shall rotten the teeth leading toward the gum disease like pyorrhoea.
