Habit of natural calls & Cleanliness of reproductive organs ( man and woman)
Natural calls include passing the urine and stool. For physical cleanliness it is so said that"Never stop natural emotions". To feel like passing the urine and to feel like going for toilet are the natural emotions. During the winter season, there is no sweating, hence there is more formation of urine by the kidneys. So one feels to pass the urine for three to four times a day. If one is regular in going for toilet, he shall go for toilet only once in a day. If the eaten food is full of spices and if it is very hot, one shall have to go for toilet twice a day. If one thinks that he should be regular in passing the natural calls only at particular times, he should drink the water at least about 2 to 2.5 litres in a day. Even then, If one is suffering from constipation and if he is habitual smoker, he shall be having difficulty in passing the tools. Such people should drink one or two glasses of water in the morning without taking any food and before brushing the teeth. If it is winter season, the water should be little hot drinkable. Then he should do some movements like walking and swinging on the swing-plank in the house for a while. By doing so, one can have the emotion of going for toilet.
Cleanliness of reproductive organs ( man and woman)
The reproductive organs of a woman are inside the body, where as those of a man are outside the body. When man and woman get matured, the hair start growing on near reproductive organs. In woman, the urine passage is over the reproductive organ. The opening of it is over the opeining of the reproductive organ. Thus the urine and reproductive passages in woman are separate. Reproductive organ of the man is the penis and testicles. The penis is like the hanging pipe. Below the penis of a man there is a scrotum in between two thighs, in which there are two testicles.
The penis and the scrotum of a man are outside. If there is growth of hair over them, it reasons for more sweating around these organs. When the sweat gets dried, the durt of the sweat gets there stuck. To remove this dirt, one should use the soap while taking the bath, so that the portion around the penis and the scrotum can be kept clean. Occassionally there should be hair cut also. The sweat created around the productive passage and the urine passage of a woman, when gets dried, the formation of the dirt gets stuck there. To remove this dirt, one should make use of the soap while taking the bath, so that cleanliness can be maintained. A woman every month passes from the mensturation period. In this period the fluid like blood comes out from the productive organ. During this period a woman has to make use of the pad to keep the part around clean. But more cleanliness can be had at the time of the bath, when one has to use the soap to keep clean both the passages.
Clothes
Generally the clothes are being put on for modesty, to conserve the body heat, for the protection of the body and for the personality development. To take care of the body in different seasons, various types of clothes are worn. Mostly the cotton clothes are used in summer because cotton clothes absorb the sweat. Since, the cotton clothes are absorbing the sweat, there is possiblity of foul smell from them when they are dried. So, such clothes should be worn for one day only. Cotton clothes are washed easily and cleaned. Cotton clothes are simple and durable. The cotton clothes to be worn should be loose. Moslty, white cotton clothes are healthful. Since, the white clothes are reflectin the sun rays, we do not feel much heat.
In winter warm clothes should be worn. But, since they are not absorbing the sweat, the cotton clothes should be worn under the warm clothes. This is benefitial from the view of the health. Since, the warm clothes are slow transporter, give warmth. in rainy season, the clothes prepared from cotton, rubber or plastic can be worn, in order to protect the body from the rains. When it is raining along with the below of wind, the atmosphere becomes cold. In such cold atmosphere only the required warm clothes should be worn. For the protection of the legs, the gum-boots can be used. In any of the seasons, the man and the woman should not wear tight clothes. Tight clothes give the pressure over some parts of the body. In such parts the blood circulation is reduced. The flow of blood is not sufficient. This may hinder the movement of that part in future.
Sleep
For keeping the body healthy, enough sleep is necessary. If an individual works physically and meantally for the whole day, enough sleep is necessary to keep the body energetic. Even in sleep our lungs, heart, lungs, and intestines are made up of muscles. So when such organs are also working during the day time, they also require rest. If we get good sleep at night, we get rest. Such organs have comparatively less pressure at night, and when get enough sleep also, they can effectively work on the next day. During sleep the clothes should be loose, clean and according to the season, so that there will not be unneccessary ressure over the involuntary muscles like the heart, lungs and the intestines, which may have favourable rest. a newly born child takes the sleep of 14 to 16 hours. Children of the age 4 to 12 years need sleep of 10 to 12 hours. The youth requires 8 to 9 hours sleep. The aged persons require 6 to 8 hours sleep, where as the old persons require 4 to 6 hours sleep. sleep result into more benefitial to the body, when the timings of going to bed and the hours of sleeping are also fixed.
Rest
To keep the body efficient, rest is necessary. An individual who has to work mentally and physically much more, they need little rest during the day time, over and above the sleep. This keeps them active for doing work. Continuous work creates monotony. The quality of monotonous work reduces and decreases the efficiency of mind and body. Rest does not mean to spoil the time. It increases the quality of work. Rest also should be as per the necessecity. Excessive rest is the sign of idleness. For rest, sleeping in bed or resting in rest chair is not the remedy. Over and above the daily routine work, if one is engaged in the work of liking, it is a rest to draw the pictures of likings, to sing the songs, to play on the musical instrument, to read the news papers or to read the best literature for some time is also the rest. Hence, it is said in English that "Change of activity is rest".
Daily Exercise
In Vyayam there is physical activity, but it is not the work. Performing daily work one gets tried, he gets disgusted and feels to take rest in between. But during doing exercises one gets pleasure, it makes the body and mind fresh. Doing a job, business, farming and also the work of a postman, house-hold work, labouring etc are the type or work. In any work one has to do little physical activity and has to divert his body to do a paricular activity. According to Gujarati and Hindi dictionaries, the meaning of Vyayam given is to do exercise or to exercise. In the simple language, Vyayam or exercise means the physical movement actions or we can say that the physical movement actions being done by physical activities. The speciality of exercises is that they have different effects on various systems of the body like respiratory system, blood circulatory system, muscular system, digestive system, nervous system etc. Which make these systems effective in their workings. Thus, Vyayam is such an effective treatment or the remedy in which benefitial effects are seen. In view of the above, an individual's daily exercise programme should be such that it may give effective exercises to almost all of the systems of the body. The exercises in the daily Vyayam programme should be such that they may provide exercises to all the organs of the body. Before starting the daily exercise programme, one should finish the routine works of natural calls. After that one should do little jogging on the spot. walking with slow speed or skipping on the spot, so that the blood of the body circulates with speed and the whole body gets warmed. This is called warming up exercises. After warming up exercises various exercises should be done or one should play the game of his choice for about 30 minutes.
